The Divine Movement of the Moorish Science Temple founded by the Prophet Noble Drew Ali under the name Moorish Science Temple Of America was formed as a body politic a Corporation organized and united under a single political authority ( the Grand Sheik and Chairman are in power to make law and enforce law with the help of the Prophet and the Grand body of the Moorish Science Temple of America ) a politically organized sate or society.

Through the 1926 Incorporation the MSTA was incorporated into the United staes Government via the state of Illinois the U.S. government is a republic of citizens ( original 13 colonies ) a government in which supreme power resides in a body of citizens ( see chapter 29 magistrate and subject ) entitled to vote ( before the 15th amendment it was law that only Males of European decent residing in their respective states a period of 2-3 years and in good standing were able to cast a free ballot at the Polls ) and is exercised by elective officers and represenatives ( Federal Government an incorporation itself ) and in the case of a state it would be your ( state and local officials ) these officials would be resposible to the Republic and Governing by law

The Moorish Science Temple Of America is a political unit ( nation or state by nature ) having such a form of Government it is to the MSTA that we pledge our Allegiance while obeying the laws and constitution of the said Government the United States Republic.
